Pumzo Kamba was influenced by his late father’s involvement in the industry during his childhood days and was determined to continue that legacy, when in 2001 NEPA projects was established. The name NEPA is a Sesotho word meaning right, correct or precise – hence the driving force behind NEPA projects; ‘Getting it Right’ - an ethos that has defined his career in business.
Company services include general building, civil works, project management and property development, as well as plant and equipment hire.
After 14 years in business, Nepa projects is a level 1 BBBEE contributor, holds a Grade 6GB & 5CE Construction Industry Development Boards (CIDB) certificate and a NHBRC certificate as well having a staff complement of 6 highly competent permanent employees and 50 temporary workers during project peak times.
Pumzo is the determined, meticulous, open-minded and astute owner of the company who has a Computer Science degree and has acquired nearly 15years experience in the industry. Over the years, he has expanded his knowledge in the sector through numerous courses and certification in Project Management, Health & Safety Management, JBCC Contract Administration, and NQF 5 Labour Intensive Construction Methods and proudly boasts of working with a diverse and notable client base.
He has worked on infrastructure projects valued at R1 Million to R24 Million ranging from community & sports centres, educational & healthcare facilities, roads and bridges, telecommunications infrastructure as well as water & sanitation projects. He is a member of the Masakhesonke contractor development, an initiative of East London IDZ and Amathole District Municipality

Nepa was appointed for the construction of the new Lutubeni Clinic and staff accomodation for Coega Development Corporation to the value of R23 million.
The Department of Rural Development and Agrarian Reform contracted Nepa Projects for the construction of the R8.5 million Tsolo Veterinary Clinic.
Nepa was appointed as sub-contractor by WBHO Construction for the civils and road construction of the R10 million Mvezo Bridge and access road.
